When’s the last time you had the perfect night out?
You know the feeling. The company is fun, the music is on point, and it seems like every venue you choose is hopping at just the right time.
These “perfect” nights out may be rare, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be planned. In fact, at Marquee Limo, you might say that when we assist our customers with the ultimate night out, setting up an unforgettable night is our specialty. And we’ve learned a few things along the way that can help you put together the ultimate night out, too.
Prepare a Guest List in Advance
Sure, you can have a blast all by yourself, but it’s always better to share it with the people whose company you most enjoy. So prepare a guest list in advance! Whittle it down to the people who are truly enthusiastic about having a great night out on the town, as well as the people you know you can always count on for a good time. One tip: use a Facebook group to organize your outing so that you get actual RSVP’s. Don’t allow any “maybe” answers, though. Let people know that you’ve got a limousine to pay for and need an actual head count in advance.
Next, secure a limousine of the right size by perusing a limousine company’s fleet. We at Marquee Limo post not only our fleet, but also the amount of passengers you can expect to comfortably fit in each vehicle.
Music: The Ultimate Party Shortcut
Set the mood right and you’re bound to have a great time, and there’s no faster way to set up a party atmosphere like the right music:
- Call your limousine company in advance to make sure that you have everything you need to plug in to their speaker system. Many times, a simple smart phone or iPod will do, but it’s always good to double-check.
- Plan your music by either setting up your own playlist, subscribing to another person’s playlist, or finding the right online station to listen to. But make sure you have an idea of the types of songs you want to hear—and it’s always a good idea to throw in the songs that you know your friends love.
Plan a Basic Itinerary
No one likes to have a night out spoiled by too much scheduling. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a basic idea of which venues you want to visit, either. Make sure you know which part of the town you want to visit, and don’t make the ride too quick, either: you want some time to enjoy your limousine, the music you’ve set up, and some private time with the company you’ve invited out. There will be plenty of time to enjoy live music, concerts, and local bars later—start the night off enjoying some banter with friends.
From there, a good limousine driver should be able to handle the rest, but always make sure to play a good host and make sure everyone drinks safely and responsibly. You can’t always count on a perfect night out, but if you can have a great time—and a safe time—then you’ve done your job.
